PREPARING TO REGISTER
- When to Register
Your registration time is based on your student classification
(see chart on
the cover of the Schedule of Classes). Registration notices
are not mailed. Login to MyUH,
review the Check My Registration Status page for your class
standing (number of credits earned) and find your Registration
Assignment on the MyUH

To login, you must have a UH Username and password.
If your UH email address is johndoe@hawaii.edu, your UH Username
is JOHNDOE. To obtain a UH email account you must
first receive an acceptance letter from the University. Undergraduate
students must return the Statement of Intention to Register along
with the Tuition Deposit. Classified graduate students must return
the Statement of Intention to Register. You may then obtain your
UH email account at www.hawaii.edu/account.
Important information from the University administration and your instructors may be sent to this email address, so you must check your UH email on a regular basis.
Email sent to your UH email account is considered an official channel of communication by the University.
Note: You will not be able to register before your designated registration
assignment. For your convenience, the current date and time are
displayed on the MyUH registration pages.
- Choosing your Courses
Before you register, see your advisor
for assistance in course selections, obtain departmental approval
for restricted courses, take placement exams for courses
that require them, and clear all academic, health, and finanancial
obligations. Review the catalog for course prerequisites. The Check
My Registration Status page will display approval override codes
for restricted courses that you are allowed to enroll in, and holds
that will prevent you from registering. Consult the University of Hawaii at Manoa Catalog that describes the courses and degree requirements and specifies course prerequisites and corequisites. Review your academic progress via Star for Students.
On the UH Manoa Registration Homepage, view Check
Class Availability to see which classes are still open and
for up-to-date meeting days, times and rooms. New classes will also
be displayed. Please review the online MyUH
tutorials to expedite your registration session.

To register and when making changes to your registration,
login to MyUH,
select Academic Services and follow the steps on the Registration
page.
- Begin Quick Registration
if you already know what classes to take and have the Course Reference
Numbers (CRN)
[or]
Search and Register for Classes for up-to-date course information
with Course Reference Numbers (CRN).
Click on the "Submit Changes" button after entering your course
selections and carefully review the "Status" column to see if
any registration error messages appeared, such as "closed section."
Courses successfully registered will have the message "Registered
on Web" in the "Status" column.
Review My Class Schedule.
Confirm that the classes and meeting times displayed are the courses
you want to enroll in. Make the necessary changes by repeating
the steps above.

Policies. Review important payment information on this page.
Please print the Review My Class Schedule page for your
reference at the conclusion of each registration or change of registration
online session.
- How to Pay
After registering for courses, you may pay for your tuition and
fees. Tuition bills are not mailed. To view tuition
and fees owed, login to MyUH,
select Academic Services then Student Records. Follow
the steps on the Review My Charges/Make an Online Payment
page. Payment must be RECEIVED at the UH Cashier's Office by
4:00 pm on the appropriate payment receipt deadline. After payment,
print the View My Account for Each Term page, as no receipt
will be issued. Refer to the Payment Receipt Deadlines section
for your student classification and Payment Procedures
for methods of payment.
