Outreach College
Fall 2008 Extension Session

Outreach College offers UHM credit courses in addition to those offered in "day" school. The credits are regular UH Manoa credits, count towards your full-time enrollment for a semester, and appear on your UH Manoa transcripts without having to transfer them. For information about tuition rates, registration, deadlines, and the latest course lists, visit the Outreach College website at www.outreach.hawaii.edu.

Tuition for Outreach extension courses is the same per credit as other Manoa courses; HOWEVER, the cost is paid separately from your regular "day" school tuition. Additional course fees may be charged.

Full payment is due the day you register for a course. If we do not receive your payment, a financial obligation hold is placed on your student record. If you cannot pay, please drop the course in the 100% refund period to avoid financial or academic penalties (e.g. an "F" grade).

TUITION WAIVER INFORMATION
Academic department tuition waivers and those disbursed by Financial Aid Services are not accepted for Outreach College courses.

UH EMPLOYEE TUITION WAIVER INFORMATION
Faculty and Staff or Spouse and Domestic Partner tuition waivers CAN be applied to a limited number of extension courses under certain conditions. Due to the self-support nature of the courses, waivers can be accepted only if the class has met the minimum enrollment. Some courses have additional conditions. Contact Outreach College Student Services to ask if the extension term course you wish to register for is eligible for the waiver. If approved, an administrative fee will be assessed for each approved course. Check the website http://www.hawaii.edu/ohr/docs/forms/waiver.htm for detailed instructions regarding these waivers. Completed waiver forms must be submitted for processing at Outreach College Student Services, Krauss 101.

FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION
Your financial aid will be disbursed upon confirmation of your attendance in 6 credit hours in "day" school and Outreach College terms combined. Financial aid may be delayed pending manual processing for Outreach College extension terms.
