Pre-Registration Checklist

You can reduce Web Registration problems and errors by completing the following Pre-Registration Checklist. Use the menu to your right as a quick guide to the questions on this form. If you have answered "yes" to all of the questions, you may follow the link to MyUH to register. If you have answered "yes" to all of the questions, you may go to MyUH Portal (http://myuhportal.hawaii.edu) to register.

Enrolled University of Hawaii students are eligible for web registration. New and transfer students accepted to attend a UH institution will receive further information on their registration procedures from their home institution.

Preview and be prepared for web registration by completing the Web Registration Tutorials (http://myuhinfo.hawaii.edu/page/registration).

The Online Tutorials will help prepare you for web registration. It will allow you to preview MyUH with explanations, trouble shooting tips and important information provided at each step of the process. It is strongly recommended that you go through the tutorials before registering.

Specific dates and times to register will be assigned based on your student standing at your home institution.
You need to check the Registration Status Page to determine your standing (credits earned at your Home Institution). Students can reference the Registration Timetable Registration Time Table (http://myuhinfo.hawaii.edu/object/timetable.html) to look up the specific date and time you can begin registration.

To find out when you can begin web registration, you need to know how many credits you have earned at your Home Institution. The Registration Status Page will let you know what your standing is. (The Online Tutorial will show you how to get to the Registration Status Page). If you are still not sure, contact your Home Institution's Student Services (Admissions & Records) Office.
When you know your standing, use the Registration Time Table to look up the specific date and assigned time you may begin registration.

You will need to clear any registration holds you may have or you may not be allowed to register. Check the Registration Status Page to view holds. You will need to go to the originating source/institution to clear your hold.
You also need to determine if your Academic Standing or Student Status prevents registration.

You will not be allowed to register until you have cleared any registration holds you have. Check the Registration Status Page to view holds. You may clear your hold at any UH System Cashier's Office, regardless of where the hold originated.

Schedule an appointment with your Academic Advisor (http://myuhinfo.hawaii.edu/page/advising.html) for assistance in planning your schedule to meet the graduation requirements for your major and for help with transfer planning. Print a copy of your UH System Academic Transcripts from MyUH Online and bring them to your appointment.
