The University of Hawaiʻi Board of Regents have re-elected Regent
Born and raised in Honolulu, Martinson joined the board in 2009. He has more than 25 years of institutional investment and asset management experience. He is executive vice president of The Queen’s Health Systems and president of Queen Emma Land Company. Martinson is a graduate of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Carlson is founder of Huʻehuʻe Ventures, a real estate consulting and agricultural property management firm. He has more than 40 years of experience in real estate, ranching and agriculture in Hawaiʻi. Carlson obtained a bachelor’s degree from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.
Lee is a partner in the Honolulu law firm of Devens, Nakano, Saito, Lee, Wong and Ching. He is a licensed certified public accountant as well as a licensed attorney. Lee received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from UH Mānoa and his law degree from UH Mānoa’s William S. Richardson School of Law.
