Leeward Community College holds a Semester of Shakespeare 2013 featuring a lineup of four public lectures and activities. This year’s events are organized around Shakespeare’s gender-bending comedy Twelfth Night.

A 2008 winner of the Wo Innovation in Teaching Award and brainchild of Leeward CC literature professors Susan Lum and Michael Nester, the Semester of Shakespeare seeks to deepen and to animate students’s engagements with the Stratford bard by providing students a venue to showcase their research and creative energies.

All events are open to the public and, with the exception of the performance of Twelfth Night in the Leeward CC Lab Theatre, are free.
