UH Mānoa Academy for Creative Media student and faculty films will be screened at the ʻOhina Short Film Showcase on September 2.
Windward Community College’s Ceramics Club will hold its popular Mother’s Day Ceramics and Pottery Sale on Friday, May 3, 9 a.m.–7 p.m. and on Saturday, May 4, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Hale Palanakila Ceramics Studio.
The annual fundraiser will offer beautiful and affordable ceramics from more than 30 artists and students. Items for sale will include stoneware, porcelain, raku and pit-fire vases, teapots, bowls, covered jars and bakers, planters, mugs and many one-of-a-kind and sculptural pieces.
Proceeds from the sale will fund student scholarships and assist with annual supply and maintenance needs of the ceramics program. For more information, call (808) 235-7323.
