Shidler College of Business

U.S. News and World Report released its 2014 edition of America’s Best Colleges, and the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Shidler College of Business was 14th on its list of best undergraduate international business programs.

Shidler College of Business was tied with Michigan State University and ranked just ahead of the University of Washington, University of Texas at Austin, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and University of Virginia.

In the Best Undergraduate Business Program category, the college improved its showing from 141 last year to 119, which ranks the college in the top 25 percent of all Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business accredited schools in the U.S.

“We are extremely pleased to be recognized among the top business schools in international business,” said V. Vance Roley, dean of the Shidler College of Business. “The U.S. News international business category has become more and more competitive as business schools learn the value of this field in today’s global business environment. As one of the original pioneers in the development of an international business program with an Asia-Pacific focus, the college continues to integrate classroom learning with real-world experience.”
