Prince Dance Company merges performing arts on stage in “Que Sueñes Con Las Angelitas,” an enchanting multimedia dance-theatre piece, at Leeward Community College Theatre on Saturday, October 4 at 8 p.m.

“Que Sueñes Con Las Angelitas,” follows the life of a singer through monologue, contemporary and tango dance, song, video projection, original music and trapeze. The title translates from Spanish as “sweet dreams,” or “to dream with the angels.”

The performance features an international cast of actors and dancers, including choreographer Angel Prince; writer Beth Dunnington; Emiliano Alcaraz, an Argentinian tango dancer; Teresa Marcaida, a Julliard-trained dancer; and Hawaiʻi Island based Prince Dance Company dancers, Lia Gregory and Elizabeth McDonald.

“This is a dance performance for people who don’t think they like dance,” said co-creator Angel Prince. “There really is something for everyone and all ages are welcome!”
