The CPA Review Program will offer a series of courses for accounting professionals who are registered to take the CPA exam. The Governmental Accounting Program will provide continuing education classes on topics including governmental structure, budgeting, auditing, financial management and ethics. The program will be offered throughout August on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Shidler College of Business.

“There’s a real need in Hawaiʻi to help accounting professionals earn and maintain their CPA certification,” says School of Accountancy Director Hamid Pourjalali, who is the Donald A. Corbin Distinguished Professor of Accounting. “With the support of the School of Accountancy Advisory Board and our faculty, we are pleased to offer the CPA Review and the Governmental Accounting Programs free to participants.”
