Windward Community College is once again bringing top island entertainers, shows, delicious food, keiki rides, arts and crafts, a silent auction and fun activities for the entire family at the 15th Annual Windward Hoʻolauleʻa: A Homegrown Celebration at Windward Community College on Saturday October 3, 10 a.m.–8 p.m.

Entertainment

Entertainment will include music from Hiʻikua, Jerry Santos, Kapena, performances from Chinky Mahoe’s Hālau Hula o Kawailiʻulā and more. Additionally, Hōkūlani Imaginarium will be showing One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure and Flying Monsters.

Windward CC attractions

Attractions and activities offered at Windward Hoʻolauleʻa will include tours of the Bioprocessing Medicinal Garden Complex, Ocean Education Academy display and safety demo, Gyotaku fish printing with the Marine Option Program and PaCES, Hawaiian woodcarving demonstrations, face painting with Phi Thetta Kappa, rocketry fun and much more.

Food

ʻOno food booths will include Fresh Catch poke; garlic pork and french fried frenzy at Heavenly Treats; bubble teas, bubble waffles and natchos at Bubble Puff and Tea; Erin’s Shave Ice; Uncle’s Hand-made ice cream cookie sandwiches; Kaneohe’s Boston Pizza; Paradise Kettly Corn; Olay’s Thai Food Express and GP Hawaiian Food Plate.

Art exhibitions

Gallery ʻIolani will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with REVEALED, The Myth of Disability, an exhibit featuring the work of 20 full-time artists who live with a disability and use art as a form of expression.
