Hawaiʻi Community College invites the community to the 3rd Annual Hawaiʻi CC Day on Friday, February 26, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. at the Manono Campus in Hilo.

The day will begin with a kīpaepae welina. Visitors can then spend time at the interactive exhibits presented by the college’s academic programs and student services.

Hawaiʻi CC Day provides an inside look at our programs and the various ways we serve Hawaiʻi Island,” said Hawaiʻi CC Interim Chancellor Joni Onishi. “The academic programs always present engaging displays and many Hawaiʻi CC students and faculty members will be present to answer questions.”

Hundreds of middle and high school students from Hawaiʻi Island schools attend the event each year.

“By engaging middle and high school students on our campus we hope to instill in them the importance of higher education,” said Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Jason Cifra. “We also want to demonstrate that Hawaiʻi CC is a welcoming campus where students can study a wide range of subjects.”

For more information about the event, please contact the Hawaiʻi CC Information Center at (808) 934-2800 or hawccinf@hawaii.edu.
