Honolulu Community College will hold an open house on Friday, April 1 to promote their summer programs and to encourage soon to be high school graduates and individuals looking to make a career change or just sharpen their skills to apply for the fall 2016 semester.
The kick off for the open house will begin with sign waving on the four corners of Dillingham Boulevard and Alakawa Street starting at 3 p.m. The actual event will begin in the college’s cafeteria and courtyard at 4 p.m. and go until 7 p.m.
Guests will be able to explore and experience demonstrations from a wide variety of degree programs and apply for the summer/fall semesters that evening.
Admission staff, academic counselors and representatives from the college’s liberal arts, trades and transportation and communication and services degree and certificate programs will also be on hand to answer questions.
