O H R website

University of Hawaiʻi Vice President for Administration Jan Gouveia shared a message on August 2 to the UH campuses.

Aloha Colleagues,

As previously announced, the Office of Human Resources (OHR) is launching a redesigned website today to allow employees to use their UH login to view employee-specific content.

The site will also serve as an open, public source of information for all prospective employees or “job seekers.” A login will not be required to access frequently asked questions in the areas of available job opportunities, benefits, compensation and other general information about the University of Hawaiʻi.

You must log in, however, to access our internal website that will provide all university employees with HR-related information in a “self-help” environment that houses form-fillable documents and user-friendly instructions for commonly used processes. There are also quick links to frequently used sites for “employees” and “supervisors.”

The existing OHR site (www.hawaii.edu/ohr) will be redirected to the new site from August 2, 2017. If you had this link bookmarked, the link will be preserved. Unfortunately, however, we regret that all other bookmarks and favorites within the OHR site will need to be reset.

This site will serve as the primary method of communicating with our employee ʻohana for all HR-related updates. We encourage all employees to frequent this site as improvements are anticipated to be made on a regular basis.

This is just the start of a concept that our team is slowly incorporating into our operational protocol. Our goal is to develop an internal website that provides up to date information and serves as a centralized resource for all of our employees. As we continually seek to improve this site, we welcome all feedback and comments at https://goo.gl/1ufUqT.

Warmest Aloha,
Jan Gouveia
Vice President for Administration
