The University of Hawaiʻi celebrates UH Day at the State Capitol on Wednesday, March 20, 9 a.m. at the State Capitol Rotunda.

This year’s theme is Healthy People, Healthy Pets. The event will include interactive exhibits by various UH campuses, including the John A. Burns School of Medicine, the UH Cancer Center, UH Mānoa’s College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources, UH Hilo’s College of Pharmacy, Kapiʻolani Community College, Windward Community College’s veterinary program and more.

In addition, there will be a farm animal exhibit featuring sheep and two newborn lambs.

UH Day at the State Capitol is part of the state legislatures’ 10th Annual Education Week. The event is coordinated by the Hawaiʻi State Senate Committee on Education, chaired by Senator Jill Tokuda.

UH cheerleaders will lead a pep rally to kick off the event. There will also be prizes.
