Windward Community College’s Hōkūlani Imaginarium

Windward Community College’s Hōkūlani Imaginarium announced their spring 2014 schedule. Trailers and descriptions of all events are also available on the Hōkūlani Imaginarium website.

Highlights include the Led Zeppelin music show, Tales of the Maya Skies, and the Imaginarium’s popular live star show, Stargazing. All Imaginarium shows, with the exception of the Led Zeppelin musical show, contain a live sky segment in addition to the feature show. Shows run approximately 1 hour in length.

The Hōkūlani Imaginarium is a high-tech planetarium and multi-media facility. The theatre has a 40-foot dome with 66 seats and four spaces for wheelchairs. Each seat is equipped with an interactive control panel so the audience can actively participate in the program by using the buttons to interact with the visual display on the screen above.

For regular (Friday) and stargazing (Wednesday) shows, tickets are $7 for general admissions, $6 for UH students, military or seniors (65+) with ID, $5 for children (ages 4-12) and free for children under 4.
