Performers in a post-apocalyptic world will stage Shakespeare’s bloodiest tragedy. The Theatre 260 class at Leeward Community College stages Titus Andronicus in the Lab Theatre, April 9–18.

Ten years after a nuclear war has consumed the world, a group of survivors emerge from an underground bunker to enact a ritual against violence. Titus Andronicus revolves around a Roman general who believes in honor and duty until the Goths he has brought to Rome as prisoners of war begin to destroy his family and the stability of the nation.

The dark play raises questions about justice, duty, and revenge.
