The Global Taste of Korea competition held at KBS Studios.

KBFD-TV Hawaii will be airing a fully-subtitled, 50-minute program documenting the journey of Global Taste of Korea contestants, including Kapiʻolani Community College culinary instructor and contest champion Grant Sato. The program will air on Thursday, November 26 from 6:50 to 7:45 p.m. on KBFD-TV.

Sato won the Global Taste of Korea Hawaiʻi Regional Contest in July and went on to represent Hawaiʻi at the international competition held in Korea in August. Sato’s hard work and passion for cooking shone through at the final competition, where he was named champion for his eight-course menu. The KBFD-TV program documenting the contest airs just in time for Thanksgiving.

“How wonderful to be able to watch it with loved ones as you enjoy your Thanksgiving feast!” said Sato. “This program is the entire competition from the day we landed in Korea, preliminaries to the semifinal, then to the final!”
