Neurohuddle, a sports-related concussion management conference, is being held January 18–19 at the ‘Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach. Co-sponsored by the Hawaiʻi Concussion Awareness Management Program (HCAMP) in the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa College of Education, the Gary O. Galiher Foundation and Hawaiʻi Pacific Health, the conference will feature speakers from across North America whose research is focused on one or more of the many dimensions for understanding and treating concussions, particularly in children and young adults participating in sports. See the program and register at this website.

A free Neurohuddle Community Forum is being held on January 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Mililani Middle School Cafeteria. The forum is open to the public, especially parents, coaches, students, and anyone interested in finding out more information on concussions. A panel of concussion experts will also hold a Q&A.
