Home gardens are a popular way for Hawaiʻi families to cope with the rising cost of living and boost food security. The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resilience (CTAHR) invites the community to take a home gardening survey to help researchers develop essential support programs.

Researchers are looking to document everything from the types of crops grown and water usage to educational resources and support for home gardeners.

All Hawaiʻi home gardeners, people interested in starting a garden, as well as non-gardeners are encouraged to participate. The survey takes less than 20 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous.

The survey is open through the end of the year. Click this link to take the survey, or scan the QR code below.
