Candidates for chancellor's post at UH Manoa schedule visits to campusUniversity of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa
HONOLULU — Four candidates for the UH Mānoa chancellor position will be on campus during the period February 20-March 2.
"I‘m grateful to the search committee for their successful efforts to identify a group of talented and experienced leaders as candidates for the chancellor‘s position," said UH President David McClain. "I encourage the Mānoa campus community, particularly our students, to meet each candidate, attend their presentations, and share their assessments with me."
The candidates are:
- Reed W. Dasenbrock, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, University of New Mexico. Dasenbrock will be on campus February 26-27.
- Yash P. Gupta, Professor and former Dean and Robert R. Dockson Chair, Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California. Gupta will visit February 22-23.
- Virginia S. Hinshaw, Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor, University of California, Davis. Hinshaw will visit March 1-2.
- Carol Tomlinson-Keasey, Professor and former Chancellor, University of California, Merced. Tomlinson-Keasey will be on campus February 20-21.
