HONOLULU - The William S. Richardson School of Law proudly announces that Jennifer Hee has been appointed as Director of Development for the University of Hawaiʻi Foundation at the William S. Richardson School of Law. Working closely with School of Law Dean Aviam Soifer, Hee provides leadership in developing the college‘s overall strategy for fund development.

Hee received a BA in English from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and is certified to teach English as a Second Language. She also received an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Kapiʻolani Community College.

Prior to joining the University of Hawaiʻi Foundation, Hee served as the Annual Giving Officer and Alumni Director at Hawaiʻi Baptist Academy. While there, she created the school‘s Alumni Program, which grew to generate national support from over 3,000 alumni.

Hee‘s background in development and fundraising in educational settings, coupled with over eight years experience in sales and customer service and a genuine passion for meeting new people and developing and building relationships, allows her to advocate effectively on behalf of the School of Law and contribute to its progress and growth as an institution of higher learning.

In her spare time, Hee is actively involved in the community through her membership with the Pacific Club, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and Hawaiʻi Kai Baptist Church, where she teaches hula and sign language to women and children on a weekly basis. Recently, she served on the Katrina Disaster Relief team in New Orleans through the North American Mission Board.
