HONOLULU — The University of Hawaiʻi Board of Regents accepted the 2007 audit report of the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa Intercollegiate Athletics at a special board meeting held today on the Mānoa campus. The financial statements were prepared by the university in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Accuity LLP, certified public accountants, has audited the financial statements and their report accompanies the financial statements.

The university‘s independent auditors, Accuity LLP, reported that based on their audit, the financial statements of the UH Mānoa Athletics Department are fairly stated and reflect a net excess of revenues over expenses for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2007 of $148,325.

"Our coaches and staff remain committed to the efficient use of resources and we appreciate their efforts," said UH Mānoa Interim Athletics Director Carl Clapp. "The continued support of our season ticket holders, ʻAhahui Koa Ānuenue, corporate partners, boosters, and others is important to our success."
