Free Student Buses Available for ‘Ohana Festival' at Aloha Stadium

The University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa Athletics Department and the Chancellor‘s Office are offering free bus service for UH students to the "Football ʻOhana Festival" at Aloha Stadium on Saturday, April 26.

Buses will depart the student residence hall area near Gateway House (Dole Street at East-West Road intersection) at 4:30 p.m. The buses will leave Aloha Stadium 30 minutes after the intrasquad game and return to the UH Manoa campus.

To reserve a seat, students should send an e-mail with their name and phone number to by Friday, April 25, at noon. Students registering for bus transportation and attending the event will qualify for a drawing for two student season tickets to the 2008 football season.

The Football ʻOhana Festival culminates the Warriors‘ month-long spring practice. The first 4,000 fans will receive a free copy of the 2008 Allstate Sugar Bowl commemorative poster. There will be free contests and activities available in the south concourse, including jump castles from Xtreme Fun Rentals and assorted games. Prizes will be awarded, including promotional items from UH Corporate Partners and free tickets to UH sporting events. Concession and merchandise stands will be open.

From 5:30-6:30 p.m., members of the UH football team will be available in the south concourse for autographs and photos, so fans are encouraged to bring their cameras and whatever UH items they would like the players to sign.

Beginning at 7:00 p.m., the players will play the "Warrior Bowl."

5:00 p.m. Stadium Gate Opens (gate 4 only)
