The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP), in partnership with Kaplan Testing and Admissions, will offer practice SAT and PSAT exams for students in grades 9-12 on Saturday, February 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the UHM Art Building, room 132.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with testing to start at 9. To register, email the student‘s name, school, grade, address and contact phone number to hcop@hawaii.edu. Priority registration deadline is Thursday, February 5.

A donation of $5, to cover the cost of testing materials, will be collected at the door. Checks should be made payable to Friends of Operation Manong.

Practice test scores, which are unofficial and therefore will not be recorded, will be available a week after the exams. Students will have the opportunity to meet with Kaplan advisors to review their results, and learn how to improve their exam scores.

A free informational session for parents and family members on the topic of college admissions, and a tour of the UHM campus are also available on the same day as the practice test. To sign up, send an email to hcop@hawaii.edu.

On-campus parking costs $3.
