The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa—joining a nationwide movement of more than 700 organizations across the country—will participate in the National Teach-In on Global Warming on Wednesday, February 4, at 6 p.m. in the Art Auditorium.

The teach-in will include a webcast of a video, "Solutions for the First 100 Days," in which leading experts address the climate change challenges that President Obama should tackle during his first 100 days in office.

The webcast will be followed by a Q&A session featuring a panel of local experts, including state Sen. Mike Gabbard, Rep. Hermina Morita, UHM professors Chip Fletcher and Carlos Andrade, Jeff Mikulina of Blue Planet Foundation, and Rob Kinslow of Hawaii Interfaith Power & Light. It will be moderated by Professors Denise Antolini and Maxine Burkett.
