ASUH-Leeward CC with the Mayor and Viriginia's Youth Summit
Mayor Mufi Hannemann recognized the ASUH-Leeward Community College’s Student Government participation in the Youth Summit coordinated by Xtreme Youth, Inc.  The Youth Summit brought 14 participants from Portsmouth, Virginia to Oʻahu for a cultural exchange program.  Dr. Charles Williams, project director, a Leeward CC alumnus, believes Hawai’i changed his perspective on life and wanted to provide the same opportunity to others, especially the inner city youth in the Virginia area.
