In celebration of homecoming 2009, the University of Hawaiʻi Alumni Association (UHAA) is hosting a variety of activities to reconnect alumni and friends with the university and each other.

Golf Tournament at Honolulu Country Club – Nov. 3
4th Annual UH Alumni Association Homecoming Golf Tournament, presented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 1186, on Nov. 3 at the Honolulu Country Club kicks off 2009 UH Mānoa Homecoming Week festivities. Registration deadline is Oct. 27. The tournament will be a day of UH pride and fellowship with alumni, students, chancellors and deans.

“You don’t have to be alumni to participate,” said UHAA executive director Janet Bullard, “so we invite everyone to come participate and support UH.”

This year’s tournament format is a 3-person scramble. Fees are $155 for UHAA members and $170 for non-members, and include green and cart fees, lunch, dinner buffet and prizes. Tournament golf shirts are available for $35. Event sponsorships are also available and are a great way to gain visibility with UH alumni: Platinum Title Sponsor is $3,000, Gold Hole Sponsor is $1,500 and Silver Tee Sponsor is $600. All sponsorships include one 3-person team and signage opportunities at the tournament and beyond.
