The University of Hawai’i at Mānoa Library will be the featured presenter at the Ala Moana Barnes & Noble Store’s Bookfair on two Saturdays in October -- October 23 and October 30.  Come out and support the UH Mānoa Library with your purchases on both days.
 
On October 23, come make a Gorey inspired postcard to invite your friends and family to Miss D. Awdrey-Gore’s "Edward Gorey's Haunted Mystery Halloween Soiree" at the UH Mānoa Art Department on Halloween (http://www.hawaii.edu/artgallery/events.html) and make a ring to accessorize your costume. Support the UH Mānoa Library online by visiting www.bn.com/bookfairs  from October 23 through October 28 and enter the Bookfair ID #10282432 at checkout.
 
On Saturday, October 30, UH Mānoa American Studies professor Joe Stanton, will give a special presentation titled "The Dangerous Alphabets of Edward Gorey" at 2:00 p.m at the Ala Moana Barnes & Noble store.  Support the UH Mānoa Library after this event by visiting www.bn.com/bookfairs online from October 30 through November 4 and enter Bookfair ID #10282440 at checkout.
