College & Career Fair at Windward Community College
Windward Community College's College & Career Fair happening on Tuesday, April 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Hale Akoakoa will offer opportunities to explore professional development and new job prospects all in one place. Over 40 employers and college representatives will be ready to talk to individuals. The event is FREE and open to the community. 
 
“It’s a great place to network with employers and schools. Even if you’re currently working, you might find a job that is more exciting to you,” said Windward CC Career Counselor Sarah Hodell. “We’d also like to introduce the community and employers to our new Career Center, where our counselors will have the latest job postings.”
 
Windward Community College opens Career Center
The new Windward Community College Career Center in Hale ‘Ākoakoa 130 is a place where students and community members can get assistance in resume writing, employment preparation skills, interview practice, and participate in a variety of career and employment workshops. Visitors to the College & Career Fair can stop in to get information on college opportunities, career services and resources.
 
College & Career Fair job highlights: Castle Medical Center, Kualoa Ranch, Blood Bank of Hawai‘i, Nalo Farms, Aloha Care, ABC Stores and more, are recruiting employees. Non-military tech or social service jobs are available on Kaneohe Marine Corps Base and Cultural Surveys, Hawai‘i is offering archaeological jobs. If you want to work with kids, Honolulu City & County Parks and Recreation, YMCA, the Marimed Foundation, and Kama‘aina Kids are looking for good employees. 
 
College & Career Fair training highlights: UH Tropical Agriculture; Institute of Clinical Acupuncture (alternative Health); pharmacy training at UH Hilo; Kapiʻolani CC Nursing and Health Sciences’ UH Social Work, Colleges of Education, Nursing, Dental Hygiene; and vet assist program at Windward CC.
