Gallery Iolani presents newest exhibition, "Old Dogs New Tricks"

Artists who met at UH in the 70s reunite for this exhibition of paintings, prints and sculptures

Old Dogs New Tricks
Gallery ‘Iolani at Windward Community College presents Old Dogs New Tricks, an exhibition of paintings, prints and sculptures by a group of artists who met at the University of Hawai‘i art building in the late 70s and early 80s. Exhibiting artists are: Doug Doi, Stephan Doi, Jon Hamblin, Michael Harada, James Kuroda, George Okuhara and Lilette Subedi.
 
The exhibition runs now through February 28 and is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 1-8 p.m., Monday and Tuesday; 1-5 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. The gallery is closed on Saturdays.

Gallery ‘Iolani celebrates 21 years of exhibitions at Windward Community College and is recognized as one of the finest exhibition sites in the state of Hawai‘i, showing work from local, national and international venues. It is the mission of Gallery ‘Iolani to promote exhibitions of cultural and educational significance. The gallery also serves as a classroom for students studying gallery design and management at Windward CC. Gallery ‘Iolani is located adjacent to Palikū Theatre in the Hale Pālanakila complex.
