Your Valentine deserves the rose that lasts forever. Honolulu Community College students in the Sheet Metal and Plastics program will be creating the unique "forever rose" from sheet metal. For the first time the program will make a limited number of copper roses.

The roses will be available at Honolulu Community College in Building 17 on Thursday, Feb. 14, starting at 9:30 a.m. until they are sold out.

The construction of the roses will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday of that week between noon until 3:30 p.m. There will be no sales during the construction days.

These one-of-a-kind sheet metal roses will make a special Valentine gift for only $5.00, and a few copper roses will be available for $15.00 each. Real roses will fade after a few days, but these roses will last forever.

Money made from this project will benefit the Sheet Metal and Plastics Program.
