WHAT: The University of Hawai`i will launch its XLR8UH proof of concept center (POCC) at this invitation-only event.  Media welcome.

WHERE: Sullivan Conference Center, UH Cancer Center, 701 Ilalo Street

WHEN: Thursday, September 4, 2014, 5:00 p.m.

WHY: As a partner in the Hawai`i Innovation Initiative, UH is aggressively pursuing the    successful growth and commercialization of its research enterprise to help diversify the state’s economy.  The XLR8UH venture accelerator will be vital to helping UH turn its research success into entrepreneurial success.
