Friday, December 19
Leeward Community College

UH Mānoa School of Travel Industry Management Graduation Reception
5:30 p.m., Sheraton Princess Kaiulani, Robert Louis Stevenson Room
· The evening will include heavy pupus, an intimate graduation ceremony, and a slide show for the graduates.

Saturday, December 20
University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo
9 a.m., UH Hilo New Gymnasium
Speaker: Hawaiʻi Congressman Ed Case
Student Speaker: Lisa Best, a philosophy major with a 3.75 grade point average
Candidates: 212

University of Hawaiʻi—West Oʻahu
9 a.m., Leeward Community College Tuthill Courtyard
Speaker: N/A
Student Speaker: Melanie Baji, a 4.0 student receiving a degree in accounting
Candidates: 100, including several from distance education programs on the neighbor islands

Combined Undergraduate and Advanced Degree Ceremony

9 a.m., Stan Sheriff Center
Speaker: Beadie Kanahele Dawson, advocate for Native Hawaiian rights, business leader, attorney and UH Mānoa alumna
Student Speaker: Heidi Agunias, candidate for a Bachelor of Science degree in Travel Industry Management

Candidates: 1,388 students are eligible to receive baccalaureate and advanced degrees.

Graduates, their families and friends are urged to arrive in sufficient time for the prompt 9 a.m. start of the program and to expect traffic congestion in the area. Campus parking is free on graduation day. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis; no tickets will be issued. Doors to the arena will open at 8 a.m., and will close once the arena has reached capacity due to fire regulations. Those arriving after the doors have been closed will be directed to Les Murakami Stadium where the ceremony will be broadcast via live feed.

No balloons are allowed inside the Stan Sheriff Center. Graduates, their families, and well wishers will exit the Stan Sheriff Center and meet on the field at Les Murakami Stadium for post-commencement celebrations.
