University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Bookstore and University of Hawai'i Press announce the campus release of Wahine Volleyball: 40 Years Coaching Hawai'i's Team by Dave Shoji with Ann Miller.

In the book published by UH Press, Dave Shoji, legendary coach for the UH women’s volleyball program, looks back on four decades of coaching to tell his story along with that of the Rainbow Wahine. Co-author Ann Miller recently retired after 34 years as a sports reporter for the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

Mānoa Bookstore will host the authors for a special in-store book signing from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12.  The public is invited.

Attendees will have a chance to meet Coach Shoji and Miller, purchase a copy of their book, and get it signed by the authors. Mānoa Bookstore will also give customers a free Rainbow Wahine Volleyball Tee with a Wahine Volleyball book purchase during the event, while supplies last. See store for details.

Coach Shoji and Miller will also be signing their book at Barnes & Noble in the Ala Moana Center on Saturday, November 15, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., and a later date at H-Zone at the Stan Sheriff Center. Visit www.uhpress.wordpress.com for event updates.
