The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa‘s Center on Disability Studies invites the public to attend its 20th Annual Pacific Rim Conference on Disabilities—PacRim 2004—March 29-30 at the Sheraton Waikiki. Since the first conference in 1985, this premier event has grown to attract participants from across the Asia-Pacific region to hear from renowned experts in a variety of disciplines on the latest advancements and resources available for persons with disabilities.

This being the 20th anniversary of the conference, U.S. Senator Daniel K. Inouye is serving as honorary chairman and will welcome participants with a video message at the opening of the conference on Monday, March 29. Keynote addresses will be given by Dr. Patricia A. Morrissey of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and Dr. David Braddock of the University of Colorado System.
