HONOLULU — The UH School of Social Work and its Alumni and Friends Chapter continue their Summer Forum program with "Policy-Driven Child Abandonment in China" featuring Dr. Morris Saldov of Monmouth University School of Social Work. The free public program will be held on Wednesday, July 14, at 1 p.m. in the UH Mānoa Korean Studies Auditorium.

Saldov, formerly an associate professor at the UH School of Social Work, will present his research on the consequences for children resulting from China's one-child only policy, conducted during a recent sabbatical in the country.

The summer forum program is sponsored as a university and community service by the UH School of Social Work and its Alumni and Friends Chapter to call attention to vulnerable life stages and conditions that call for greater public awareness and constructive policy formulation.
