Windward named its three finalists for the chancellor position and have invited them to participate in a final round of interviews and open forums.
The finalists
Joanne E. Clark, associate vice chancellor for community relations at Manoa since 2002. Her previous administrative experience includes service as interim chancellor at West O‘ahu for two years, dean of instruction at Leeward for two years and dean of students at Honolulu for six years. Her open forum will be April 28, 2:45 p.m. in Hale Akoakoa 101.
Douglas Dykstra, vice chancellor for academic affairs at Hawai'i since October 2004. His previous administrative experience includes service as acting dean of instruction/vice chancellor for academic affairs at Leeward for four years. His open forum will be April 29, 1:45 p.m. at Hale Akoakoa 105.
Wilson G. Hess, president, College of the Marshall Islands, Majuro, Republic of the Marshall Islands since October 2005. For two years, Hess served as president and CEO of Sandy Pond Corporation, and served at Unity College in Maine for more than 20 years, serving as its president for nearly 10 years. His open forum is April 29, 12:15 p.m. at Hale Akoakoa 105.
