Manoa’s Violeta Baguyo, custodian for the William S. Richardson School of Law, was honored with the President’s Award for Excellence in Building and Grounds Maintenance. The award recognizes UH employees who exhibit dedication and sustained superior performance in a maintenance, landscaping, custodial, shop or trucking position.
Baguyo has received overwhelming praise from the law school’s faculty and staff and is well known for going above and beyond her responsibilities. She is commended for her cheerful attitude, infectious smile and commitment to the success of the law school.
“She’s truly a professional who touches the lives of the entire law school community and whose efforts always leave a lasting impression for our visitors,” says Dean Aviam Soifer.
Baguyo will be recognized for her achievement along with other UH award recipients at the annual Convocation ceremony in the fall.
