The University of Hawaiʻi 2009 Convocation Awards Ceremony, Sept. 15, 10 a.m. at Mānoa’s Kennedy Theatre will honor more than 40 faculty and staff from the university’s 10 campuses across the state with various teaching, research and service awards. The ceremony will welcome the university’s new president, M.R.C. Greenwood, who will deliver her first address to the university community at the commencement of the new academic year.
The Board of Regents, campus chancellors and administrators, friends and family of the award recipients will also join Greenwood in celebrating the accomplishments of these faculty and staff members.
The ceremony is free and open to the public. It will also be broadcast live on the Manoa Campus Cable Channel 67 via streaming video and at the following campus HITS locations:
