Mānoa’s Farhat Abbas, Ann Boesgaard, Wayne Borth, Ali Fares, John Hu, Justin Levinson, Michael Melzer, Jeffrey Rich and Diane Sether and Hilo’s Laura Kimoto, Steve Lundblad, Peter Mills and Kenith Simmons have recently published articles.

Mānoa Assistant Researcher Farhat Abbas and Professor Ali Fares authored "Best Management Practices in Citrus Production" in Tree Forestry Science and Biotechnology.

Laura Kimoto, Hilo lecturer, published "The English Language Instructor: A Bridge to Support Services on Campus" in International Students: Strengthening a Critical Resource.

Justin Levinson, Mānoa associate professor published "Race Death and the Complicitous Mind" in the DePaul Law Review.

Hilo Professor Peter Mills and Assistant Professor Steve Lundblad co-authored "Tool Production at the Nuʻu Quarry, Maui, Hawaiian Islands: Manufacturing Sequences and Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Analyses" in the New Zealand Journal of Archaeology.

Jeffrey Rich, Mānoa graduate student and Emeritus Astronomer Ann Boesgaard published "Beryllium, Oxygen, and Iron Abundances in Extremely Metal-Deficient Stars" in The Astrophysics Journal.

Mānoa Assistant Plant Pathologist Diane Sether, Junior Researcher Michael Melzer, Assistant Plant Pathologist Wayne Borth and Plant Pathologist John Hu published "Genome Organization and Phylogenetic relationship of Pineapple Mealybug Wilt Associated Virus-3 with Family Closteroviridae Members" in Virus Genes.

Kenith Simmons, Hilo assistant vice chancellor for academic affairs and professor had her poem "Augur" appear in Beyond Forgetting: Poetry and Prose about Alzheimer’s Disease.
