Hilo Professor Christopher Lu presented an invited paper on “Comparative Studies Between Conventional and Organic Lamb Production” at the Joint Meeting of 4th International Symposium on Sheep and Goat Production and 2nd National Forum of Goat Milk Industry held in Joao Pessoa, Paraiba, Brazil.
Mānoa Law School Dean Avi Soifer is chairing the Kathryn T. Preyer Memorial Committee for the American Society for Legal History. Beginning scholars who write winning papers are invited by the Preyer Committee to present papers at the ASLH annual meeting.
Dana “Kapua” Sproat, Mānoa visiting assistant professor, gave a lecture “Legal and Institutional Frameworks for Water Resource Management” at the First Nations’ Futures Institute at Stanford University.
Misaki Takabayashi, Hilo assistant professor, presented “Incorporation of Native Culture in University Curriculum: What Can a Non-Native Professor Do?” at the National Science Foundation Tribal Universities and Colleges Program workshop in Albuquerque, NM.
