The award-winning Mānoa Outreach College’s KIDS FIRST! Film Festival returns to Hawaiʻi, Sundays, June 5, 12 and 26 at 3 p.m. A project of the Coalition for Quality Children’s Media, KIDS FIRST! films are free of gratuitous violence; race, gender, or religious bias; and condescension towards children. Featured films include The Little Engine That Could (U.S), Paperboy (U.S.), My Pantanal (Brazil), Lunch (Israel) and Beans! (Canada).
