William Puette Elected Parliamentarian President

Delegates of the Biennial Convention of the Hawaiʻi State Association of Parliamentarians elected West Oʻahu Center for Labor Education and Research Director William J. Puette as president for 2011–2013.

Puette teaches classes on parliamentary procedure, among other subjects, as part of the CLEAR program. He serves as the parliamentarian for the West Oʻahu faculty senate and is one of the state’s only professional registered parliamentarians.

The Hawaiʻi State Association of Parliamentarians is comprised of 191 member parliamentarians and is the state division of the National Association of Parliamentarians. NAP helps organizations conduct business efficiently through education and advocacy of effective meeting procedures and the accreditation of all meeting professionals.
