Learning Skills and Strategies

Learning skills and strategies are offered in the educational workshops to maximize their potential as learners and to provide academic enrichment.  Three learning assessments (Nelson-Denny Reading Test, Myers Briggs Type Indicator and Learning and Study Strategies Inventory) are administered during orientation of the program and serve as baseline information for the content in the workshops and individual advising.  Group workshop topics include:  MBTI & Effective Learning, Time Management, Reading, Concept Mapping and Test Preparation Strategies and Anxiety.
