New Student Orientation (NSO)
Warrior Freshmen Program – Fall 2008

The Warrior Freshmen Program is recommended for you, as a first-time college student (freshman). The program has been designed to prepare you for your first semester and provide you with direction and resources that will support you throughout your first year at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.

At NSO you will be able to:
  • Meet with academic advisors to find out program and degree requirements and prepare for registration.
  • Receive assistance from a team of highly trained and experienced UHM student orientation leaders.
  • Get acquainted with other new students.
  • Learn about opportunities for campus involvement.
  • Practice your decision-making skills to make for a safe and smart first-year experience.
  • Meet with representatives from across campus at the Resource Fair.
  • Tour the Manoa campus.
  • Be assigned an earlier fall registration appointment.
  • Receive breakfast, lunch, and snacks throughout the day.
  • Have lots of fun!
