Obtain a UH username in order to access UH’s online services. Obtaining a UH email account is essential: registering at UH is only done online and University offices - academic advising, cashier's, financial aid offices, and your major department, etc. - will contact you only through your hawaii.edu email. Also, you need to have a UH account in order to reserve a space in orientation. If you have a preferred email account, be sure to have your UH email account forwarded to that email address. The New Student Orientation staff will communicate with you via your UH email account, so get into the habit of checking it frequently this summer. You don’t want to miss important announcements.
