Dates and Prices
Congratulations on becoming a UH Warrior! The staff and leaders of the New Student Orientation (NSO) program are excited to meet all of you and welcome you to the UH-Manoa (UHM) campus.
As a freshman, you only need to attend one of the orientation sessions. If you come to a one- day session, you do not need to attend the Week of Welcome orientation sessions. Similarly, if you plan to attend the Week of Welcome orientation sessions, you do not need to come to a one-day session. The information you will receive will be the same, just the format is different. However, if you do want to attend both a one-day session and Week of Welcome, please contact our office to find out about the registration cost for attending both sessions (one-day session and Week of Welcome as a discount is available).

Week of Welcome (WoW) occurs the week before school starts and freshmen participating in WoW who have paid for their housing and submitted a signed housing contract to the UHM Housing office will have the opportunity to move into the residence halls before their peers on the morning of Tuesday, August 20th. All non-WoW freshmen will be able to move in after 12pm on 8/20. Please visit the UHM housing website for more information: http://manoa.hawaii.edu/housing/.
Note: Freshman WoW participants who wish to move in early on the 20th must have their registration fees paid by 4pm on Tuesday, August 13th in order to take advantage of this opportunity.
In addition to providing information about academic advising, campus resources and the new campus environment, WoW sessions will also provide information about living in Hawai'i (culture, activities, surrounding campus environment, etc.) and give students with extra time to meet and interact with other new students.
