Anschlie§end legt sie frische Sagobrocken ins Feuer, bckt sie unter mehrmaligem Wenden mit einer Bambuszange und i§t sie noch warm.A woman, Kambanpi is refining bananas directly on the fire. On top of a moistened banana leaf she is putting sago, scraps of coconut and pieces of the refined bananas. The cake is wrapped in the leaf and baked in the heated frying-pan. The burnt banana leaf is then scraped off, and the cake is eaten. |
