| Description: | Kasis Road lies just outside of town. It is a world of corrugated iron shacks, dirt roads, no electricity, fatherless children adn gangs of aimless young men like Tony. There are few jobs and only a bleak future, but Tony and his friends enjoy their freedom until he gets Rachel pregnant. Tony doesn't want to know, but his father brings Rachel and the baby to live iwth them -- just when Tony has met the first woman he's ever really cared about. The film was shot completely on location in Port Vila, Vanuatu, with a crew of Pacific islanders from Fiji and Vanuatu. The cast is entirely Ni-Vanuatu. |
