Dewes desparate for his first game

FMF Flying Fijians prop Graham Dewes is desperate to run in for his first game for Fiji in France and confidentially said that judging from the commitment and the morale at camp Fiji will advance into the World Cup quarterfinals.

Speaking to Village sports, the Auckland Marist based player said that the boys' have been told to treat each game like it was the finals and to give it their all for the country.

Dewes who has links to Rotuma adds that being in the Fiji team has always been a dream for him it is a challenge to perform at the World Cup.

Fiji now has to lift the bar in their game as Wales is now becoming a threat after beating Argentina early this morning 27-20 in a world cup builds up match.

Fiji is in Pool B with Australia, Japan, Canada and Wales and the World Cup kicks on September 9th.

Meanwhile defending World Cup champs England lost to France 22-9 last night and Italy had to work hard to beat a disciplined Japan team by 36-12.
